Is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Hard?
Yes.
Do I need to have previous experience in self defense to join?
No. Our instructors create an atmosphere that is welcoming for all skill levels.
Do I have to stay while my child is in class?
No. Feel free to run errands or relax.
Do I need any special equipment?
You will need a gi, also known as a kimono, to participate in gi jiu jitsu. You will need shorts or spats and a tight fitting shirt for nogi jiu jitsu. Headgear, shin guards and MMA gloves are required for MMA classes. We have equipment you can borrow for trial classes and our instructors can guide you when purchasing equipment.
